Pavement Shadow
Seen on a walk to Nowhere and beyond, this afternoon.
This reminds me so much of a quilt I made which I can't get out of my head - it's actually called 'sunshine and shadow' and it's like a loop tune in my mind!
Although it's not what I intend working to, it was too relevant not to share - and it is tempting now I look at it again! Will be interesting to see how I feel about both themes when I return home from holidays the day after tomorrow...

It's a quilt of ironwork gates/fences/ .
